With the approaching of CES 2013, many electronic manufacturers are preparing to get more attentions. And in the CES 2013, we are certain to have the change to know more advanced products. Velocity Micro is just one of the companies busy preparing for the CES 2013. The previous released Velocity Micro 10 inches Q610 failed to attract eyes for its poor screen resolution and unreasonable price. To change the situation, Velocity Micro Company has decided to output a comparatively low priced and higher configured tablet on CES 2012. That is the Velocity Micro Cruz D610 tablet.

    Cruz D610 tablet

The new tablet from Velocity Micro is a 10-inch Cruz D610 tablet. The 10-inch tablet ships with Android 4.0 and houses a 1.5GHz dual processor and 1GB of RAM. The Cruz D610 comes with 8GB internal storage, a microSD expansion slot, a 0.3 megapixel front camera, a 2MP back camera for video shooting and image taking, and 1024×768 pixels resolution of screen. Ports include microUSB and mini-HDMI. According to Velocity Micro, prices will start at $199 with a release by end of the first quarter this year.

Though Cruz D610 has been improved on both screen resolution and processor, the 10-inch large screen would still not produce satisfactory effect for people to watch HD movies with the 1024×768 pixels screen resolution. And the price is also not competitive when compared with other tablets, especially like some 7-inch tablets like Nexus 7.
