• The First Weekend’s Sales of iPhone 7 Roughly in Line with iPhone 6S

Posted on September 19th, 2016 admin No comments

According to early analytics data, the first weekend of iPhone 7 sales seems to have been on track with past iPhone launches, especially for iPhone 6s released in Sept. 2015.

The iPhone 7 achieved 1 percent adoption in Localytics tracking of iPhones, with the 7 Plus accounting for another 0.2 percent. That’s roughly equivalent to what the iPhone 6s line achieved in Sept. 2015, the only difference being greater adoption of the 6s Plus at 0.3 percent. The iPhone 6 managed 2 percent in Sept. 2014, with the 6 Plus coming in at 0.3. 2013’s iPhone 5s — which didn’t have a Plus model — hit 0.9 percent during its launch weekend.

iPhone 7 sales could be significantly higher, since its data only reflects the number of people who already have a device and are using apps. Delivery times for online preorders quickly extended into weeks or even months, an Apple took the unusual step of saying that some models wouldn’t be available at stores on launch day.

As the hottest topic this September for Apple fans, iPhone 7 is attracting more and more iPhone users to switch from an old iPhone to iPhone 7. After switching to the new devices, the main problem may be how to transfer data from old iPhone to iPhone 7. In order to solve the issue, Leawo Software rolled out a iPhone transfer software to help transfer data between two iOS devices.

  • Rumored No Longer: Apple Confirms September 7 as iPhone 7’s Announcement Date

Posted on August 29th, 2016 admin No comments

Apple has made it official that its next iPhone will be revealed to the world on September 7, the first Wednesday in September. Along with the announcement of its next iPhone, most likely called iPhone 7, it is also possible that Apple will roll out its new watch, too. The venue is once again at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, with the familiar start time of 10 a.m. PT.

iPhone fans are now expecting the iPhone 7 and 7 plus to be unveiled by CEO Tim Cook and company. The current rumor mill points to nearly identical external designs to the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, improved cameras (with a dual-lens system on the larger iPhone), and most controversially, no headphone jack.

The event would also offer the opportunity for Apple to repromote iOS 10, the update to its mobile operating system first unveiled in June. The free upgrade is expected to be rolled out to hundreds of millions of iPhones and iPads later in September.

The Apple Watch, a product that hasn’t been updated since April 2015, is also due for an upgrade. In addition to the new operating system (coming to existing watches alongside iOS 10), new fitness features including rumored GPS tracking could help position a refreshed watch as a better activity tracker.

Beyond new iPhones and wearables, Apple could also address the smart-home landscape: the launch of a dedicated Home app in iOS 10 means a bigger push for HomeKit-connected appliances and home accessories.

Apple’s line of Mac computers is also rumored for an eventual refresh including MacBook laptops with an OLED touch bar, but that’s said to be slated for later in the year.

  • iPhone 7 Is Coming in 2016, What We Expect

Posted on May 26th, 2016 admin No comments

iPhone SE has released for months, now the hottest news about Apple is that iPhone 7, next model Apple will release this year. And after last year’s iPhone 6s upgrade, it’s likely the technology giant will reveal a brand new design for this year’s iPhone 7, which has drawn people’s much attention and expectation.

Talking about the iPhone 7 release date, Apple followed a set pattern for their release but a few of them were released at completely different time. If apple gonna follow the same cycle as it used for iPhone 5 and 5S, 5C, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, iPhone 6S we can anticipate that the release date of iPhone 7 may fall sometimes in September 2016.

    Expected iPhone 7 Release Date

    Model Name Release Date
    iPhone June 2007
    iPhone 3G June 2008
    iPhone 3G S June 2009
    iPhone 4 June 2010
    iPhone 4S October 2011
    iPhone 5 September 2012
    iPhone 5S and 5C September 2013
    iPhone 6 and 6 Plus September 2014
    iPhone 6S and 6S Plus September 2015
    iPhone SE March 2016
    iPhone 7 September 2016 (expected)

As Apple fans, people always want to hear the latest news about Apple’s product plans, and expect the latest features on the latest models. Although the rumors and predictions aren’t always accurate, they bring us topics after dinner. The iPhone 7 models may be way different from the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus models.

Because 2015 marked an “S” iPhone upgrade year that introduced new features such as an improved camera and a better processor, 2016 will bring an even-year upgrade that will include a new iPhone design in addition to new features. And as likely customers, we would like to expect some new features and updates in iPhone 7.

    1. Better Screen

    shattered iphone screen

Bend gate of iPhone 6 isn’t a piece of latest news anymore, and I believe no one will see that again on iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus. In iPhone 7, we would like to see a better screen which isn’t that easy to be broken or shattered. The rumored sapphire display didn’t come on iPhone 6s models, as the GTAT has applied for bankruptcy, so it won’t be able to provide sapphire for iPhone 7. And due to the gross shortage of sapphire displays, there is little chance that iPhone 7 will be equipped with sapphire screen, but we may want a scratch-resistant screen like Sony Xperia series.

    2. Better Battery Life

Although Apple claims a better battery life after every update, people still don’t see obvious improvement. So we would like to see the improvements on battery life in iPhone 7, at least we would like to see an obvious improvement when comparing with the older models. The battery life of iPhone has been a complaint ever since iPhone 5, and we don’t want to charge our devices once a day. Low Battery Mode is good, but the extra one hour is just not enough.

    3. Improved RAM and Storage

iPhone 6s models are equipped with 2GB RAM, which a good update from the predecessor, but compared various kinds of 4GB devices in the market, 2GB isn’t that outstanding. So we would like to see an up-to-date RAM in iPhone 7 models. Also, we are expecting the 32GB entry-level iPhone other than 16GB models, because we easily run out of storage space when using 16GB iPhones, and cannot install many apps.

    4. Wireless Charging

As the USB cable Apple provides with iPhone is easy to be broken, so we would like to see a wireless-charging iPhone 7 in 2016. We can get rid of the troublesome USB cables with a wireless-charging iPhone, and we’ll also benefit from wireless charging if there are some in Starbucks or Walmart.

    5. Waterproof iPhone 7

Competitors like Samsung and Sony have released their waterproof Android phones years ago, so we also want to see a completely waterproof iPhone 7. If iPhone 7 comes waterproof, it may also come with totally new design. The current design of iPhone is obviously not waterproof, so the next model may adjust its speakers, and the lighting port.

iPhone 7 will come in order in 2016, and it has become a hot topic not long after the release of iPhone 6s. Maybe the latest iPhone model will bring us more surprise, let’s wait and see.
