Tutorial of Leawo 3GP Converter

What is 3GP and 3G2?
3G stands for third generation, a generic wireless industry term for high-speed mobile data delivery over mobileular networks. 3GP is a multimedia container format defined by the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) for use on 3G mobile phones but can also be played on some 2G and 4G phones.

What devices support 3GP file?
(1) Most 3G capable mobile phones support the playback and recording of video in 3GP format (memory, maximum filesize for playback and recording, and resolution limits exist and vary).
(2) Some newer/higher-end phones without 3G capabilities may also playback and record in this format (again, with said limitations).
(3) In iMovie '08, a movie exported using the "Tiny" setting is saved as a .3gp file and can be played on a Mac, an iPhone (as well as any other handset able to load and play the file), an iPod touch or using Apple's .Mac Web Gallery service.
(4) Audio imported from CD onto a PlayStation 3 will copy onto USB devices in the 3GP format.

Add video

Click "Add Video" icon to add video files to the program.

Customize effects

1. Click "Edit" icon to open the Customization window. Then you can customize the output audio and video:

Trim: Trim video duration time to cut the unnecessary part of video to enjoy the wonderful segments.

Crop: Crop video edge to extract the black margins.

Effect: Set video brightness, video contrast, video saturation and audio volume; check to let video flip and deinterlace.

Watermark: You can easily add image or text watermark to the converted video file.

2. 3D video settings

Head to "3D Settings" button and you can switch to the following interface where you can carry out the following jobs.
a. Choose 3D Setting Mode from Red/Cyan, Red/Green, Red/Blue, Blue/Yellow, Interleaved, Side by Side, check your 3D glasses type for reference.
b. Set 3D video depth effect by choosing an exact value from minus 50 to plus 50.
c. Have a real-time preview of the output 3D video.

Output video format selection

Click drop-down button next to “Profile” on the main interface to find the suitable quality for your output.

Video and audio settings

Click “Settings” to open the “Settings” interface to make detail settings for output audio and video, such as audio and video codec, quality, bit rate, video frame rate, video size, audio sample rate, etc.
