HTC Raider 4G Arriving at SK Telecom in September with 1.5GHz Dual-core Processor and 4G Network

A new HTC Smartphone – HTC Raider 4G – will be hitting the market by the end of September with South Korean carrier SK Telecom and later landing in US and Europe. The HTC Raider 4G is actually the previously hot- rumored HTC Holiday, whose main features is its powerful hardware and fast network.

4.5-inch Screen

It seems that HTC really loves huge screen. After it bring the Smartphone into the 4-inch screen era, does it aim at 5-inch Smartphone in the end, after it announced the 4.7-inch huge screen Smartphone HTC Bass a few days ago. The HTC Raider 4G will be equipped with a 4.5-inch screen with natively qHD (960×540) resolution, which is particularly fit for web users and movie fans. Like other newly released phones such as HTC Rhyme, Raider 4G will have the new Sense 3.5 UI which has new optimizations with new functions, new components and less memory demanding.

1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8M camera

A 1.5GHz Qualcomm dual-core processor will be mounted on HTC Raider 4G to bring with more fluent operating enjoyment. The embedded Adreno 220 graphics card has several times performance than previous versions like Andreno 205 and will ensure more standout layout in 3D games and HD movies.

Two cameras will be equipped on HTC Raider 4G: the 8MP primary camera with dual LED, auto focus and 1080p HD video capturing; and the 1.3MP front camera for video calling.

4G LTE network

HTC Raider 4G will be running on Android 2.3 system and support LTE (850MHz), HSPA/WCDMA (2100MHz), GSM/GPRS/EDGE and especially the 4G LTE network which guarantees the network speed steadily at 8Mbps to 10Mbps level, reached the standard for a true 4G Smartphone. Other features like 1GB of RAM, 16GB of memory, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi, GPS and DMB digital TV will be seen on this device. Besides, HTC Watch function is introduced to HTC Raider 4G, which make it possible to watch the movie while still downloading.
