Rip DVDs to Video
Step 1Import DVD Source
When entering into the main interface of Leawo DVD Ripper, you can click “Load DVD" button to import all DVD sources to processing list, or just drag and drop all source files to program. Output subtitle and audio track option can be done here. If needed, you can preview the DVD video with program built-in player and merge desired DVD files to one clip at will.
Tips: This useful DVD to video converter supports to randomly merge DVD files into one. You can choose your preferred DVD titles or chapters firstly, then go to "Edit" drop-down menu to click "Merge" button to merge them together, or just right click your desired DVD files and select "Merge" option to merge them to one clip.
Step 2Choose Output Profile
Slip to "Profile" drop-down box to pick up a compatible format for your media players or portable devices. Meanwhile, multiple output options matching fashionable media players are available for you in "Profile" frame. For further purposes, you can set advanced video and audio parameters by clicking "Settings" button.
Step 3Convert DVD to Video
Click bottom-right button "Convert" to start to convert DVD to video. Within a short while, you can transfer all ripped files to your digital devices for freely enjoyment.
For more professional applications, you have access to reset the output video and audio parameters. Click "Settings" button next to the "Profile" frame to change the parameters like Video Codec, Quality, Video Size (choose from provided options or manually input desired video size according to your devices or players), Bit Rate, Frame Rate, Aspect Ratio, Audio Codec, Audio Quality, Bit Rate, Sample Rate, Channels, etc.
Edit DVD Source:
By clicking "Edit" button on program menu bar, you can enter into "Video Editing" panel to customize source files for a more personalized output. 4 useful video editing features are listed in this menu, including Trim, Crop, Effect and Watermark.
Trim Video Length
Go to "Trim" section, you can trim video length by clicking the "Set as Start Time" and "Set as End Time" buttons while playing the original DVD video, or manually inputting millisecond time indexes to "Start Time" and "End Time" frames.
Crop Video Size:
Go to "Crop" section, you can drag the handlers of the frame on the left preview window and then modify the parameters below to compensate for an accurate result to crop video size and remove black margins.
Adjust Video Effect:
Go to "Effect" section, you can adjust video effects for better visual effects by dragging the sliders of "Brightness", "Contrast", "Saturation" and “Volume Zoom".
Add image or text watermark:
Go to "Watermark" section, you can check "Enable Watermark" option and choose to add image or text watermark to your DVD video. Detailed watermark parameters settings are also provided for special uses.
Apart from abovementioned editing features, you can also rotate the video viewing angle with Horizontal Flip, Vertical Flip, Rotate 90° clockwise, and Rotate 90° counter-clockwise features.
2D to 3D conversion
By clicking "3D" button on program menu bar, you can enter into "3D Settings" panel to create 3D video for freely playback on various 3D players or uploading to YouTube 3D channel. There are 6 different 3D modes provided: Red/Cyan, Red/Green, Red/Blue, Blue/Yellow, Interleaved, Side by Side. After setting the 3D effects and depth, you can take a preview with built-in player.
