How to use Leawo DVD Creator to create DVD?

DVD Creator is a converter and burner combined program which is used to create video DVD from video clips like AVI, MP4 and WMV. It converts the video clips to DVD VOB format and directly burns them to a DVD disc or a DVD ISO image.

Add video files

Click "Add Video" button to load video clips, or directly drag the video clips in and drop on the interface.

You can preview the video by double click on its title, to make sure it is correctly imported or to capture a snapshot for later use. With videos on the list, you can select one and click "MoveUp" or "MoveDown" button to swap position.

Video effect customizations

1. Edit video by clicking on the "Edit" button.

Go to "Trim" to get an exact length of video you want to put into the DVD.

Go to "Crop" to get rid of black margins if there is any.

Go to "Effect" to enhance video and audio detail by adjusting brightness, contrast, saturation and volume.

Go to "Watermark" to apply an image or text to be a watermark on the video surface.

2. 3D video settings

Go to "3D Settings" panel, then you can select one of the 3D setting modes from Red/Cyan, Red/Green, Red/Blue, Blue/Yellow, Interleaved, Side by Side, adjust 3D Depth effect by choose an exact value.

DVD menu customizations

Get into the following interface by clicking on the big "Burn to DVD" button. Various DVD menu templates are available for your options: Standard, Business, Education, Holiday, Nature, Others. Under each option there are many sub templates which you can select one for use.

Play: play videos imported from beginning to end
Chapter: go to the submenu to choose video for playing
The circular virtual keys allow you to choose the corresponding target: Upward or Downward, Leftward or Rightward. Click the centric button to back to the main menu.

Click on the "Customize Menu" button and go to the following five panels for menu customizations.

1. Themes: pick up one of the DVD menu template themes: Standard, Business, Education, Holiday, Nature, Others, Customized

2. Background: you are able to choose DVD background through Gallery, Color, Picture and Video

In Gallery, choose one from Standard, Business, Education, Holiday, Nature and Others to set as background.
In Color, choose three colors and the mixture of the three will be set as background. You can also adjust the background Angle and Position.
In Picture, choose an image from you local computer to serve as background.
In Video, add a video file from your PC to set as background.
You can also insert an audio file to be the Background Music from your computer. In "Duration", choose an exact value for how long you want the music last. If the original music file duration is far behind the needed duration, you can check "Loop Play".

3. Button: select Frame Style and Icon Style

4. Caption: click on an object on the preview area and then input the new caption. You can select language, font, alignment, etc.

5. Advanced: choose file name displayed or not on menu, number of chapters on each submenu. Style of the focused menu item also allowed being set. Choose Frame or Mark and then select the corresponding color or shape. After setting, the set items will display the corresponding effect with your mouse clicked on.

You can choose to input your own volume label. And choose to burn video to ISO File or DVD Folder. In "Options", you can choose to DVD creation after-done actions and the destination for you to save the output file. In "Video Settings", you can select the suitable TV Standard and Aspect Ratio.
