Leawo DVD Creator is a powerful program that combines different functions. It can help you burn any video to DVD or ISO image file, burn 2D videos to lifelike 3D videos in 6 3D modes, trim or crop video, add effect or watermark to video, and customize DVD/BD menu templates to meet your personal taste.
Click button, you can choose to Add Video Files, Add Video Files with Directshow, Add Video Files with QuickTime, Add Video Folder, Burn to DVD, Burn ISO File, and Exit the program.
Click button on program toolbar to Rename or Delete selected files; Clear all imported files; adjust media file orders with Move Up and Move Down buttons; Check All or Uncheck All video sources; Merge files into one, edit source media files by clicking Media Edit; get detailed Media Information.
Click button to do program settings and select program interface language. 13 languages are provided for choice, including: English, French, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, German, Polish, Japanese, Vietnamese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
You can click Tools>Options to carry out program settings as below: Visit to General section, you can set the Subtitles Files Dir folder to let Leawo DVD Creator read subtitles, select Subtitles Default Encoding from various of choices and do the update check settings. Check Enable automatic update check, then you can set the Number of days between update checks or choose Update every day, Update every week, or even Update every month.
Visit to Conversion section, you can do program settings like Priority Native Codec and Enable Deinterlacing. CPU Core numbers (1 to 2) are available for adjustment via clicking inverted triangle.
Visit to Connection section, you can check Use Proxy box then do some proxy settings including Host, Port, Proxy Type, Username and Password. You can even try to Get IE Proxy if necessary.
Click button on program top menu bar to get detailed information about the program. You can click Help to visit the user guide of Leawo DVD Creator online; click Home Page to Leawo DVD Creator product page on Leawo.com; click Support option to enter Leawo’s support center; click Register to get Leawo DVD Creator registered; click Check for updates… to search the latest version of Leawo DVD Creator; click Bug Reporter to report all bugs you have met to Leawo; click About to get the current version information of Leawo DVD Creator including Version edition, Support and Home Page URL as well as Copyright.
Burn Video to DVD
1. Load Video
Firstly go to the load video interface, and click File>Add Video Files or File> Add Video Folder to import original videos or video folder, or you can simply click to directly load source videos for later DVD burning.
: Click this button to select subtitles from source video or add external subtitles in SRT, ASS, and SSA.
: Click to select audio tracks for output files.
: Click Move Up and Move Down icon to arrange the file order on the file list
: Click to choose DVD types as DVD-5 or DVD-9.
: Click to set the aspect ratio of the DVD as 4:3 or 16:9.
: Click this button to adjust the quality for the DVD as Low Quality, Medium Quality and High Quality.
: The space used and left is clearly seen here.
: Click this button to delete selected files (one or more).
: Click this button to clear all source files on the processing list.
: Click this button to register the software to embrace the full features and free updates.
This program enables you to preview source files in selected DVD menu.
: Click the inverted triangle button to select a DVD menu for preview.
: You can also use the leave and right arrows to set the specific DVD template for preview.
: Click this button to show Play and Chapter submenus in preview area.
: Click this button to show detailed chapter list.
: Click this button to play the whole video chapters one by one.
:Click this button to select any chapter to play.
: During file preview, you can move upward, downward, leftward or rightward to choose to play the current or another video. You can choose to play or pause the video by clicking on the centric button.
: Click this button to adjust file volume.
Tips: Right-click files you have chosen (two or more) and select Merge to combine them into one for disc burning.
2. Design Menu Templates
If you do not want your output DVD with menu, you can just click to disable menu. Or you can just select preferred DVD menu template under different themes to apply it to your DVD. You can also DIY menu via the built-in menu designer, just click to enter into Menu Designer panel for personalized DVD menu authoring. You are capable of customizing the background, button, caption, etc for your DVD menu.
Head to Themes option, you will visit many DVD menu themes like Standard, Business, Education, Holiday, Nature, Others, and Customized, and each theme contains lots of submenus, you can simply click desired one to apply to your file.
Head to Background option, you can freely choose DVD background under Gallery, Color, Picture and Video. You can also add Background Music or set a specific value in Duration to decide the time you want the music last.
a. Gallery: You can select one menu from Standard, Business, Education, Holiday, Nature, Others and set as background.
b. Color: You can select any three colors and adjust and set the color mixture as the background. Background Angle and Position are also provided for adjustment.
c. Picture: You can ass an image file from your computer to save as background.
d. Video: You can import a video file from computer and save as background.
e. Background Music: You can insert an audio file from your PC as background music to make the template more phonic and set music file Duration. You can check Loop Play mode for loop music playback, click button to preview listening and click button to clear the added music.
Head to Button option, you can choose specific Frame Style and Icon Style for your DVD menu.
Head to Caption option, click on one object on the preview area and input a new caption. You can adjust several caption properties like font, size, bold, italic, alignment, underline, color etc.
Head to Advanced option: The first part is about Menu Properties settings, and you can check Show file name on menu to display the file name on menu or uncheck it to not show, number of chapters on each submenu is adjustable from 1 to 6. You are capable of setting the style of the focused menu item. Choose any virtual key button (Frame or Mark) and then select the corresponding color or icon.
Click button to apply the settings to all files, in the drop-down list of , you can choose to Save or Delete customized menu at your will. Click to complete disc menu design or click to cancel menu customization.
3. Video Edit
Click Edit>Media Edit or simply click button on the top menu bar, you can trim, crop the video, change video effect, or add image or text watermark to the video file on the Video Edit window.

4. 3D Settings
If you are a 3D movie lover, you can also mouse click in the main interface to do 3D settings. In the pop-up 3D Settings interface, you can select any 3D mode (Red/Cyan, Red/Green, Red/Blue, Blue/Yellow, Interleaved, and Side by Side) to suits your 3D glass. The 3D Depth can also be adjusted from -50 to +50.

5. Burning Settings
You can click the to get into Burning Settings panel, where you can choose to burn to ISO File, DVD Folder or DVD disc, select Burn Engine from StarBurn or Cdtools at your will, type in unique volume label, set a specific output destination in Save To, and select the suitable TV Standard according to your location.
Click Burn Now button in Burning Settings panel to start to burn video to DVD.
6. Burn ISO File to DVD
Click File> Burn ISO File to enter into ISO to DVD burning settings panel, and you can easily select ISO Files from your computer folder to load ISO files. Choose your burner in Burn To and set your preferred burning engine in
Burn Engine (StarBurn or Cdrtools), Number of copies from 1 to 10 is also available for selection. After all settings, click Burn Now to do the specific ISO to DVD burning process.
Tips: An information box would occur if you forget to insert writable disc to the burner.
