Leawo Blu-ray Creator Getting Started

Leawo Blu-ray Creator is the ideal tool to help you create Blu-ray, DVD and ISO image out of your favorite videos in an easy and fast way. This award-wining BD creating program supports over 100 formats and could burn videos to both DVD and Blu-ray with various menu templates added and flexible video editing features supported. It can also function as powerful 2D video to 3D Blu-ray/DVD converting utility to make vivid 3D videos.

 

Menu Introduction:

Click file-button button on program menu bar to open its drop-down list. Then you can choose Add Video Files to load one or several media files for converting or choose Add Video Files with Directshow, Add Video Files with QuickTime and Add Video Folder options to load source files. The Burn to DVD & Blu-ray option is provided for you to burn source files to DVD/Blu-ray/ISO image and Burn ISO File is provided for you to burn ISO file to DVD/Blu-ray.

Click edit-button button on program toolbar to Rename selected media files; Delete selected files; Clear all imported media sources; adjust media file orders with Move Up and Move Down buttons; Check All or Uncheck All sources; Merge several files into one; click Media Edit to edit source media files; and get the detailed Media Information.

Click tools-button button to visit two submenus Options and Language, and you could click Tools>Options to do program settings and click Tools>Language to select program interface language. In all, there’re 13 languages available for choice, including: English, French, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, German, Polish, Japanese, Vietnamese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

Click Tools>Options to do program settings, Under General, you can set the Subtitles Files Dir folder to make Leawo Blu-ray Creator able to read subtitles, choose the Subtitles Default Encoding from multiple choices, or carry out update check settings via checking Enable automatic update check. You can set the Number of days between update checks freely, or choose Update every day, or Update every week, or even Update every month.

Under Conversion panel, you can perform converting settings like check or uncheck Priority Native Codec and Enable Deinterlacing, set CPU Core numbers of this program.

You can also visit Connection panel and then check Use Proxy option to do proxy settings, including Host, Port, Proxy Type, Username and Password. Click the Get IE Proxy button will assist you to set the proxy easily.

Burn Media Files to DVD/BD

1. Import Video

In the home interface, you will observe four big image buttons: among them, the add-video allows you to easily add videos to the software; the download-video allows you to invoke a YouTube downloader to download online videos, the edit allows you to do diversified video editing; 3d-settings allows you to magically convert 2D videos to lifelike 3D DVD/BD for enjoyment.

 

Tips:

• You are also capable of inserting source videos via clicking File button on the top left corner, then select Add Video Files to load original files or choose Add Video Folder to import original video folder.

•Right click the file and you can rename, delete, clear, check all or uncheck all the files, and it is simple for you to  select Media Information to see the source properties and output settings of selected file.

•Right click your selected source files and click “Merge” option to merge them to one clip or choose your preferred videos and go Edit>Merge to combine them into one video.

subtitle-option: Click this button to select existed subtitles or add external subtitles.

audio-track-option: You can also select your desired audio channel for output files.

delete-option: Check one or more source files, and then click this button to delete selected files.

clear-option: Click this button to delete all imported files.

• The loaded files will be listed one by one on the left part of the program interface, and the sequence is adjustable via move-up and move-down.

dvd-type-option: Click this button to select DVD or BD types include DVD-5, DVD-9, BD-25, and BD-50.

: Click this button to select the aspect ratio like 16:9 or 4:3.

: Adjust the quality for the DVD/BD as High Quality, Media Quality, or Low Qulity to fit for Disc. Click the inverted triangle to do the selection.

: You can observe the DVD or BD space used and left clearly.

: Click this button at upper right to register the program.

On the right part of the main interface, you are allowed to preview the imported videos in specific disc menu. Click  to open the drop-down list and select one theme, and then locate the specific DVD/BD template for preview from  via clicking the leave and right arrows.

: Click this button to head to Play and Chapter submenus in preview section.

: Click this button to show detailed chapter list.

: Click to view the videos one by one orderly.

: Click to choose one of the videos in chapters for preview.

: During preview, you can move upward, downward, leftward or rightward to choose to play the current or another video. Click the centric button to play or pause the video.

: Adjust file volume via clicking this button.

2. Edit Video

Click Edit>Media Edit or directly click the  button on the top menu bar to enter into Video Edit interface. In this panel, you can trim a video length, crop a video dimension, adjust video brightness, contrast, saturation, volume, and even add image or text watermark to your desired videos.

3. Design Menu

You can click  to remove menu if you do not want the output DVD/BD discs to have menu attached. These programs has more than 40 preset menu templates, but if you do not satisfied with the built-in menu, just click  to DIY your personalized menu templates.

Click Themes option, you will embrace lots of DVD and Blu-ray menu themes in Category (Standard, Business, Education, Holiday, Nature, Others, and Customized), and each theme consists lots of templates, you can select the one you like.

 

Click Background option, you can freely edit DVD and Blu-ray background under Gallery, Color, Picture and Video or add background music.

 

a. Gallery: Open the drop-down list and you can select one theme from Standard, Business, Education, Holiday, Nature, and Others, then locate one template to set as background.

b. Color: In this section, you can mix three colors and set as the background. You can also adjust Background Angle and adjust Position via .

c. Picture: import an external picture from your PC to save as background.

d. Video: load a video file to save as background.

e. Background Music: You can add an audio file from computer and set as background music, and it is easy for you to get instant preview listening via  and clear background music via . If you want loop music playback, you can just set Loop Play mode. The music file Duration is available for adjustment also.

 

Click Button option to select different button styles under different categories.

 

Click Caption option, choose a target file on the preview section and replace the caption by inputting a new caption. You are able to do further settings on front size, front color, bold, italic, and so on.

 

Click Advanced option, you can choose file name displayed or not on menu, and set the number of chapters on each submenu. Style of the focused menu item is also available for selection. When you choose Frame virtual key button, then kindly select a color for it, and when you choose Mark, just select an icon for the Mark. The effect will show up as soon as your mouse clicked on.

 

 

During each setting, You can click  button to apply your settings to all files. You can also select to Save or Delete customized menu via drop-down button of , Click  to finish or click to cancel disc menu design.

 

4. 3D settings

Click the big  button on the top menu bar or just click small  button at the end of each chapters to make your 3D DVD or Blu-ray movies. Six 3D effects are available for chosen, and you are also capable of setting 3D depth from -50 to +50.

5. Video to DVD/BD Burning

Click  button first. In the pop up window, you can choose to burn video to ISO File, DVD Folder, or Blu-ray Folder in Burn To bar. In Save To, select the folder location to save your DVD or Blu-ray file. In Burn Engine, select StarBurn or Cdrtools. You can also type a name as a Volume Label and select TV standard: NTSC or PAL. Click Burn Now to start to burn source files to DVD or Blu-ray.

 

In the burning panel, you will see the Task Name, Elapsed Time, and burning Progress clearly. You can also choose to Do Nothing, Shutdown Computer or Sleep in the drop-down list of After task completed.

 

 

6. Burn ISO to BD

Click File> Burn ISO File in home interface to get into ISO Burning Setting panel, where you can feel easy to load your target ISO files by clicking the inverted triangle in ISO file bar. Select a burner in Burn To (if you have more than one burners). In Burn Engine section, there are two options: StarBurn or Cdrtools, and you can choose the one works well for you. The number of burning discs from 1 to 10 is provided here for setting. Click Burn Now button to begin to burn ISO to BD.

 

Tips: The program will automatically remind you to insert a writable disc to burner if you forget to do so.
