Apple updates iOS 4.3.2, Safari 5.0.5 and Xcode 4.0.2 for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch
Posted on April 14th, 2011 No commentsThe latest news for all Apple users: Apple has released iOS 4.3.2 for various models of iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch, especially to fix security issues and FaceTime calling with random images issues. Meanwhile, Apple also updated the Safari 5.0.5 and Xcode 4.0.2 for all Mac developers.
From the above picture we could know the main improvements and bug fixes. The update mainly includes content as below:
· Fixes an issue that occasionally caused blank or frozen video during a FaceTime call
· Fixes an issue that prevented some international users from connecting to 3G networks on iPad with Wi-Fi + 3G
· The latest security updates, including: Certificate Trust Policy, libxslt, QuickLook, WebKit, etc.
This update is compatible with most Apple products, including: iPhone 4 (GSM model), iPhone 3GS, iPad 2, iPad, iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (3rd generation). Apparently, iPhone 3G is not included in this iOS 4.3.2 update.
Also on Thursday, Apple released the updated Safari 5.0.5 for all Mac and Windows users. The new version in fact adds nothing, but enhances security of its previous version with two security holes patched to allow unexpected application termination or arbitrary code execution.
Aside the iOS 4.3.2 and Safari 5.0.5, Apple also released the Xcode 4.0.2 for all Mac developers. This update software is also available on Mac App Store. What’s more, the Security Update 2010-2011 for Snow Leopard, Leopard Client, and Leopard Server are also released for users.
