True or Rumor: iPad 3 with up to 2048*1536 high resolution screen display

After the release of Apple iPhone 4S, the next most anticipated Apple produce might not be the next generation of Apple iPhone, but the iPad 3, which is rumored to be out in the first quarter of next year, which, absolutely, would be a false guess. The next generation of iPad is said to feature with a 10-inch large screen display. And to make the large screen display comfortable with users’ eyes, the iPad 3 screen display resolution must be high enough, which has been proved to be a big step for tablet and a big challenge for manufacturers. The latest rumor from CNET shows that the iPad 3 would feature with a 2048*1536 pixels high resolution screen display, which has really excited all iPad fans, even though still needs to be confirmed. Apple has always been trying to have a Retina Display-like resolution on the iPad 3, according to the source who is in contact with Asia-based suppliers who, in turn, are familiar with Apple’s plans. Apple makes a definition for Retina Display as having “pixel density is so high your eye is unable to distinguish individual pixels.” The iPhone 4S features a 960×640, 3.5-inch display that packs in 326PPI. At about 12 inches from the eye, this is the most amount of detail the human retina can see, according to Apple. If the iPad 3 would get such high screen resolution, the iPad 3 would absolutely become the best choice for you to watch HD Blu-ray on iPad. Also, playing HD videos on iPad 3 would be an enjoyable experience for you in your spare time.

However, such high resolution screen display might still be a big challenge for manufacturers. “They have production plans for 2048×1536 displays. Starting in November. But those are only plans at this point,” said the source, referring to LG and Samsung.

Google updated Google+ iPhone app for iPad and iPod touch & iOS 5 devices

At the end of June, Google released the Google+ app for Android mobile phone. And on July 19^th, Google+ app for iPhone came out for Apple iPhone users to experience Google+ social network with their iPhones. 1. First up is iPad Hut’s 5-in-1 iPad Camera Connection Kit, which allows the iPad to connect with a range of different devices including digital cameras, TVs and monitors.

The adaptor has five ports including a USB port, SD card port, microSD card port, 3.5mm DC port and mini USB port, as well as AV leads – allowing you to connect your tablet to other hardware or sideload documents and presentations from all those memory cards and USB sticks knocking around in your bag.

Over 23000 Korean iPhone users joined the lawsuit towards Apple for location tracking

The location tracking of Apple iPhone and iPad has been a great concern from all Apple device fans and worldwide users ever since being discovered. Last month, a South Korean lawyer, Kim Hyeong-Suk, sued Apple for “amassing of location data without users’ consent” and infringing on his privacy in a lawsuit that was filed against the American company on April 26 and got 1 million won (about US $945) compensation from Apple. Obviously, that is not the end of this case. Kim had said he would draw more iPhone users to sue Apple for the location data collecting. The latest news show that there are over 23000 South Korean iPhone users joined the lawsuit towards Apple for location tracking.

Last month, in an updated version of Apple’s privacy policy, the company added a note that once users agree, Apple and unspecified “partners and licensees” may collect and store user location data. Some detailed content of the upgraded Apple’s privacy policy showed bellow:

“To provide location-based services on Apple products, Apple and our partners and licensees may collect, use, and share precise location data, including the real-time geographic location of your Apple computer or device. This location data is collected anonymously in a form that does not personally identify you and is used by Apple and our partners and licensees to provide and improve location-based products and services. For example, we may share geographic location with application providers when you opt in to their location services.

Some location-based services offered by Apple, such as the MobileMe “Find My iPhone” feature, require your personal information for the feature to work.”

However, this upgraded privacy policy could still not comfort iPhone and iPad users about their privacy data. The class-action lawsuit launched by the Mirae Law, Kim’s law firm, might make an end with the tech giant paying millions of dollars in damages for inflicting emotional distress on them through the smartphone’s controversial location tracking feature.

It is currently reported that Kim’s law firm has charged each plaintiff 16900 won (US $16). No matter what the result would be, Kim’s law firm would benefit at least 9000 won per client.
