Google updated Google+ iPhone app for iPad and iPod touch & iOS 5 devices
Posted on August 8th, 2011 No commentsAt the end of June, Google released the Google+ app for Android mobile phone. And on July 19th, Google+ app for iPhone came out for Apple iPhone users to experience Google+ social network with their iPhones. The support for only iPhone of Google+ iPhone app now ends with the fresh upgrade of Google+ iPhone app. On August 8th, Google+ updated its Google+ iOS app to version 1.0.2.1966 to support all Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and iOS 5 devices.
Google describes this update on Apple iTunes: Google+ for mobile makes sharing the right things with the right people a lot simpler. Huddle lets you send super-fast messages to the people you care about most. And no matter where you are, the stream lets you stay in the loop about what your friends are sharing and where they’re checking in.
What’s New in Version 1.0.2.1966
– Huddle settings
– Aggregated circle add notifications
– iPod touch & iPad support
– Performance and stability improvements
As the main rival to the social network giant Facebook, it could be said the Google+ owns more advantages than Facebook (not mean to the two social network giants, but refer to the development experience) as Google+ could learn experience and more things from the success of Facebook, just like the combination mobile phone apps with different mobile phones. Now, along with the support for almost all Apple devices, it is for sure that more Apple users would take a try of Google+ service. And as a user, we focus not who would win in the competition, but what would bring to us.
The Google+ iOS app is just updated. The performance of Google+ on iPad, iPod touch and iOS 5 still needs to be paid attention. Let’s just see what Google+ iOS app has brought to us.
