Which output format is the best to get the smaller size with better quality if I want to back up my DVD on my computer?

Generally speaking, we recommend H.264 output by our program. The default codec for H.264 in our program is H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, which can provide better quality as well as smaller output size. And it has high compatibility with nearly all mainstream multimedia players.
