Leawo DVD Creator for Mac supports burning video files to DVD-5/DVD-9 disc, folder or ISO image files with abundant video editing features to customize DVD movies. You can also personalize your DVD by making personalized DVD menu.
Click the program icon in Applications or on desktop to start Leawo DVD Creator for Mac. After launching, on the top-left corner of the Mac computer, you could see the program top menus: DVD Creator, File, Edit, 3D and Help menu.
1. Top Menu – DVD Creator
This menu allows you to click About Leawo DVD Creator option to get the current version information of this software; and select Services, Hide DVD Creator, Hide Others, Show All, or Quit DVD Creator.
2. Top Menu – File
This menu allows you to click Add Video Files, Add Video Files With Quicktime, or Add Video Folder to load source media files. You can also click Burn to DVD to get into Burning Setting directly.
3. Top Menu – Edit
This menu allows you to Delete selected source files; Clear all imported media sources; click Media Edit to enter into video editing panel; and get detailed media information via clicking Media Information.
4. Top Menu – 3D
This menu is specially designed to convert 2D video to 3D DVD movie. You can open the drop-down list of this menu and choose desired 3D effects out of Red/Cyan, Red/Green, Red/Blue, Blue/Yellow, and Interleaved. You can also choose to Turn off 3D or click 3D Settings option to enter into the detailed 3D settings panel. Click Hide 3D Module option to hide the 3D button on program main interface.
5. Top Menu – Help
This menu allows you to click Help option to visit Leawo DVD Creator for Mac user guide page on Leawo.com; click Home Page option to enter into Leawo DVD Creator for Mac product page; click Support option to visit Leawo’s support center; click Bug Reporter option to send bugs of Leawo DVD Creator for Mac to Leawo Company.
Steps on Burning Videos to DVDs on Mac:
Add Video Files
You can add original videos via 3 simple ways: 1. Click to load original files; 2. Drag and drop the files directly into software interface; 3. Input videos by clicking File>Add Video Files or Add Video Folder to import either files or folder.
Tips: The imported files are all listed on the left interface, and you can reset the video sequences for later burning via and. At the bottom of the main interface, you can easily select to burn to DVD-5 or DVD-9 via , set aspect ratio as 4:3 or 16:9 via . Output quality from Low, Medium, to High will be easily defined in box.
: Click this icon to get into video editing panel.
: Click this button to edit video in video editing panel.
: click to choose subtitles from source media file or add external subtitles.
: click to select audio tracks from source media files.
The videos can be selected and watched in the imbedded media player on the right of the interface. Feel free to control your preview with under Main and Title option.
: Press this button, Play and Chapter submenus will occur.
: Press this button to show chapter list.
: Click this icon so that you can preview the videos one-by-one from the beginning to the end.
: This button allows you to choose the specific video in chapter list pages for watching.
During video preview, you can capture video snapshot as save as JPEG, THM, and BMP format for late use by using and adjust video volume via dragging the slider .
: You can adjust real-time video playback via this progress bar.
You can click Edit>Media Edit or just press button to perform specific video editing under Trim, Crop, Rotation, and Watermark. In this step, you are endowed with the ability to trim a new video length, crop video size, rotate video to a proper angle, apply effect to DVD video or add logo or banner to video.

Design DVD Menu
This program enables you to generate DVD without DVD menu or with your self-made DVD menu template. If you do not show inertest in DVD menu, you can easily remove the menu for burning with the help of button. The program has 40+ built-in menu templates provided for you to apply, and you can click to select the preset menu templates.
However, if you prefer to customize menu rather than select the rigid templates, you can opt for to DIY menu under Themes, Background, Button, Caption, and Advanced.
Go to Themes: you will visit many DVD menu templates under different categories, pick the one suits your need.
Go to Background, you can freely choose DVD background under Gallery, Color, Picture and Video or add background music.
Under Gallery: choose one menu from Standard, Business, Education, Holiday, Nature, Others.
Under Color: Mix three colors and set the output as background. Angle and Position are available for setting.
Under Picture: Load a picture to serve as background.
Under Video: import a video file to serve as background.
Under Background Music: You are able to insert an audio file to be the background music from your PC. In Duration, you can choose an exact value for how long you want the music last. Set Loop Play mode for loop music playback. Click button to play the music or to pause the misc playback and button to clear the background music.
Go to Button panel, it allows you to choose specific Frame Style and Icon Style.
Go to Caption panel, you can click on one file on the preview area and type in a new caption. Caption properties like font, size, color, etc. will be easily set at your will.
Go to Advanced option, you can choose to check Show file name on menu or not, Number of Chapters displayed on each submenu can be set from 1 to 6. Style of the focused menu item can also be adjusted. And you can choose Frame or Mark and then select the corresponding color or shape.
You can click button to apply your settings to all files; click button to select to Save or Delete personalized menu at your will; click to complete the disc menu design; or click to cancel all the DVD menu customization.
Burn Files to DVD
You can click File>Burn to DVD or mouse click to get into Burning Settings interface. In Burn To, you can select Disc, ISO File or DVD Folder. In Volume Label, you can easily input your own volume label. In Save To, you can choose the proper output folder. In TV Standard, just choose NTSC or PAL based on your place. After that, click Burn Now to start the burning task.
In the last Burn panel, you will see the specific Task Name, Elapsed Time, and burning progress. Required disc space and Total Elapsed Time are also viewable in this section.
Convert 2D Video to 3D DVD
If you want to convert 2D video to 3D DVD for amazing home theater entertainment, you can simply click 3D on the upper left corner of Mac computer to choose a 3D mode. But this operation is very simple and you will not be able to adjust 3D depth. To do deeper setting, you can click File>3D Settings or just press and select 3D Settings to carry out detailed settings.
