Q 2: What can I do if I want to upgrade the program to the latest version?
A: There're 2 approaches for you to upgrading the program.
I. Visit our site to get the latest info of the program. We always provide our users with the latest release. Just download the new version and install it on your computer.
Note: Please make sure that you have already uninstalled the former version.
II. Since it is available for you to upgrade the version online, you can directly click on the button on the interface of the program, and start the upgrade. It may automatically connect with the recently-released version.
We suggest you choose the first solution for upgrade as you may get more info from our web site.
Q 3: Why the output DVD file has no audio/sound but it works very well in my source PowerPoint?
A: This may be caused by any of the following three faults:
1. You have chosen to ignore the audio in PowerPoint. Please check the options on the interface of "Options\Advanced Settings\PowerPoint\" in Leawo PowerPoint to DVD Std.
2. You haven't set the audio file to be automatically played when inserting it to the PowerPoint. Please adjust the current settings in your presentation file.
3. The audio codec is not supported. Please set the audio codec to the other two formats---AC3 or MP2 in the interface of "Options\Advanced Settings\Audio Codec" in Leawo PowerPoint to DVD Std.

Q 2: Why would some of the converted files be interrupted for a sudden or some slides are just skipped over when exhibit on Window Media Player?
A: We strongly recommend upgrading your Windows Media Player V9.0 (or above) and DirectX 9.0 (or above).
Q 2: How to fix the failed error of every attempt to convert a PPS file?
A: Leawo PowerPoint to DVD Pro is able to convert your PPS or PPSX files to DVD.
As you know, thumbnails of every imported file would display on the title menu. Hence, when you import PPS, PPSX or files with password, the PPT to DVD tool will open PowerPoint to get thumbnails, and you will see a dialog too. Do NOT close PowerPoint. Otherwise the import or the conversion may fail.
Besides, you can choose to save your PPS or PPSX file as PPT or PPTX format and remove the password if any. And then convert it again.
If neither of the mentioned solutions helps, please contact our support center by phone, email or online chat.
Q 3: I get the error message including Error opening C:\Users\Owner\Documents\PowerPoint to DVD Pro\Output\dvd_2008…./VIDEO_TS/VTS_01_0.VOB: Bad address during conversion. What should I do?
A: As to this error message, please set a simple path for the output folder like "D:\Output" on the interface of "Options\Output Options\Folder\".
Q 4: I get the below error message: 1. ERROR: Failed to DVD Authoring. 2. ERROR: Err writing data. What's going on?
A: Please set the working folder and output folder on the interface of "Options\Output Options\Folder\" to another disc of your computer.
Q 5: When I play my writable disc on my DVD player, the menu music is playing intermittently. How could I solve it?
A: One reason for this issue is that the disc you burnt is a DVD with lower read speed than regular ones. Another possible reason is that the quality of the disk you are using is not good enough.
Q 6: What can I do if my home DVD Player can't recognize the DVD I just burnt?
A: We recommend using a DVD-R disc of which the compatibility is better.
Also note that some model DVD players of certain brands do not support DVD+RW and DVD-RW, which means all discs burnt by a PC burner cannot be played on them.
2. If the burnt disc cannot be played on your computer, it is probably because the disc has not been burnt or the burning process is failed. We suggest you to save the created DVD image to hard drive first, and then use a third-party burning program like Nero. To create a DVD image file, do the following:
A. Launch Leawo PowerPoint to DVD Pro, and select DVD as the output option;
B. On the Burn option, check the option Create DVD image file, specify the output location of the ISO file, and then click Start to convert presentations to DVD image.
C. When conversion finished, launch your burning software.
3. Wrong DVD norm. Please change the DVD norm to the other--NTSC or PAL.
Q 2: Why does the program require free disk space as large as 9GB while processing my PPT file?
A: The required large free space of hard drive has something to do with the animation of PowerPoint file. While converting to DVD, Leawo PowerPoint to DVD Std produces a large number of temporary files, which could be unexpectedly large. These temporary files will be automatically deleted when conversion finishes.
Intel Core 2 2GHz or equivalent and RAM 512MB or above are recommended to assure good output quality. Leawo will continuously optimize the conversion efficiency in the future version.
Q 3: I have burned the PowerPoint to DVD. It runs on one of my DVD players, but on two others, it doesn't recognize the disc and won't run. Any ideas?
A: This problem occurs out of the improper DVD norm. Please change the DVD norm to the other - NTSC or PAL.
