Blu-Ray Ripper Aspect Ratio

Postby zootime on Thu Aug 19, 2010 10:54 am

I have just downloaded the software and have experimented a few times but I cannot get a copy to .avi format that maintains the DVD's original aspect ratio.
No matter what CODECS I use, I get the same problem (all squashed up). Can anyone shed any light for me please.
Thanks
Alan

I have now just downloaded the standard DVD version (not Blu-Ray) and this displays the same problem.
I have tried forcing to 16:9 aspect ratio but it stubbonly refuses to oblige.
I would just mention that I have tried this on a couple of DVDs now and I get the same problem on both.
Thanks

Ok due to the lack of any response, I am guessing this is a feature of these products, as opposed to something I am doing wrong. A shame really as I have already bought Video Converter and would have liked to have stuck with the same product set.
I shall continue my search for a suitable product on Google.
Thanks

Thanks for this,
I have tried the new version but it hasn't made any difference.
This only seems to be a problem going to an .avi format.
As I say, it did happen the same way with DVD Ripper and DVD to AVI converter as well. Is it me???
Cheers

Hello Alan,

Thanks for your feedback.
Could you please kinldy send us a small part of your DVD so that we could check and get a solution for you? Please choose to convert to Lossless DVD Copy and trim the length to be 2 or 3 minutes and send us the output file to dvd@leawo.com.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
Best regards,

Hi,
I have tried but I can't get the resultant 80Meg file (2 mins) through my mail server.
Zipping it up doesn't help much either.
Is there any other way to get the file to you?
Cheers
Alan
