I am having a similar issue converting a VOB to an AVI file

Error includes: AppName: convert.exe AppVer: 1.0.0.246 ModName: ffbri.dll
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00221797

ffbri.dll has no version information

I checked my copy of avGrabber2.dll - ver: 1,3,0,8
If you link to the one you posted is newer could you repost the link again as "File not fond" when avGrabber2.dll download link you posted is followed

I also have the GPF log from the crash

Which software are you using? Please go to our site http://www.leawo.com/ to download the latest version (version 3) to reinstall, then retry.
By the way, does your VOB file was from DVD directory? If so, please use DVD Ripper at http://www.leawo.com/dvd-ripper/ to rip DVDs.

The Free AVI Converter - DVD2AVI 2.3.1.0

By the way, does your VOB file was from DVD directory?

The video was ripped using DVD Decrypter and the VOB was stored in a hardrive directory.

If so, please use DVD Ripper at http://www.leawo.com/dvd-ripper/ to rip DVDs.

Your unregistered DVD Ripper watermarks and limits audio to 3 minutes so was not used.

Hope there is a solution to the issue with DVD2AVI 2.3.1.0.
