During the course of attempting to install "videoconverter_aff.exe", Kaspersky antivirus flags a number of intrusions on the operating system (Win7/32 in this case). I might expect a registry key or something, but this was "requested low-level access to disk writes" and "requested permission to shut down the operating system."
I can't imagine that a video format converter would need to do anything like this. I've installed many video apps (and even written a few), and I've never seen this before.
What's going on?
