Rip Blu-ray to MKV
Before starting the Blu-ray to MKV conversion, you need to download, install and run Leawo Blu-ray to MKV converter on your computer. The full converting steps go as follows:
Step 1Import Blu-ray/DVD sources
Click "Load BD" button to import Blu-ray sources, or click “Load DVD" button to import all DVD sources to program processing list.
Step 2Choose subtitles and audio tracks of Blu-ray/DVD source
Check the title or chapter you want to retain subtitles and audio tracks. After you click the "All Subtitles" and "All Audio Tracks" buttons, all original subtitles and audio tracks included in Blu-ray/ DVD title or chapter will be displayed at the bottom of the left processing panel. You can select the one you need or just all of them for output. Meanwhile, the built-in player allows you to preview videos, subtitles and audio tracks separately.
Step 3Convert Blu-ray/DVD to MKV video
Click bottom right button "Convert" to get the Blu-ray/DVD to MKV conversion started. The converting status can be viewed on the pop-up panel. When done with the whole conversion, you can transfer all ripped files to your media players for freely playback.
Advanced Settings
1. General settings: Click "Tools-Options-General" to do general settings, including: output directory path settings and update check settings.
2. Conversion settings: Click "Tools-Options-Conversion" to do conversion settings, including: DVD Navigator, output file.
3.Thumbnail settings: Click "Tools-Options-Thumbnail" to do thumbnail settings, including: image format, image size, etc.
4. Connection settings: Click "Tools-Options-Connection" to freely do Proxy settings when necessary.
