How to use Leawo Blu-ray Creator to create DVD/Blu-ray?

Leawo Blu-ray Creator is a full-featured Blu-ray maker for burning video to Blu-ray discs (BD-25, BD-50), DVDs (DVD-5, DVD-9) and create ISO Image for future use. Common video and audio formats such as AVI, MP4, MOV, MTS, AAC, AC3, WAV, MKA, etc. are accepted by this Blu-ray burner.

As a multifunctional Blu-ray burning software, it allows you to add some personalized features to the output. You can trim and crop the video to remain the necessary part of the video, add unique effects and watermarks to make it branded for you. In addition, you can select the suitable output menu template, background picture and music according to your preference. Add files

Click on the "Add Video" icon to add files to the program for burning.

Note: The detailed original media information can be accessed and you can change the video processing order by clicking on the "Move Up" and "Move Down" button. External subtitle can be added and audio channels are available for choosing.

Video effect editing

a. Edit video files

Go to the "Trim" button to set video "Start Time" and "End Time".

Go to the "Crop" button to remove black margins or crop it in an appropriate size.

Go to the "Effect" button to set output video Brightness, Contrast, Saturation and Volume.

Go to the "Watermark" button to add image or text watermark over the video to make it unique to you.

b. 3D Settings

There are various 3D setting modes (Red/Cyan, Red/Green, Red/Blue, Blue/Yellow, Interleaved, Side by Side) for your options, pick up one of them and adjust 3D Depth effect by choose an exact value.

Preview menu template

For your preference, there are multiple menu templates available: Standard, Business, Education, Holiday, Nature, Others, Customized. When you unfold each menu template, you will get sub templates for options. Select one menu template and you can have a preview of the template. Once you click on one video showed in the template you are also able to have a preview of the video. On the top right of the menu template panel there are two icons for you: If you do not want your output file with the built-in menu, just click on "Disable Menu" button to remove it. If you are not satisfied with the menu templates embedded, and switch to "Design Menu" button to make further customizations.

a. Template simulation control
Main: play or select chapter (The "Play" button enables you to play all the videos from the beginning to the end. The "Chapter" button checked, you are able to get to the submenu and choose one of the videos on submenu for playing.)

There are two cases for the circular virtual keys:

Circular virtual keys: When there is no video preview, you can carry out actions Upward or Downward, Leftward or Rightward to position the target video and click on the centric button to confirm it. When there is video preview, click the four-direction keys to make a selection on current or next video playing, the centric button is for you to "Play" or "Pause" video.

b. DVD burning settings
Choose to burn to DVD-5/9, BD-25/50, set aspect ratio and output quality: Low Quality, Medium Quality and High Quality. Space for DVD/BD burning is visible here.

Design menu

If you want to do more menu template customization details, you just need to go to the "Design Menu" button to do menu template customization with more individualized features.

a. Go to the "Theme" panel, there are various DVD & Blu-ray menu template themes (Standard, Business, Education, Holiday, Nature, Others, Customized) for your preference.

b. Go to the "Background" panel, there are four ways for you to choose DVD & Blu-ray background: Gallery, Color, Picture and Video.

  • Option 1: Check "Gallery" and then pick up one from Standard, Business, Education, Holiday, Nature and Others to be background.
  • Option 2: Check "Color" and select any of three colors to set as background. Background Angle and Position can be also adjusted.
  • Option 3: Check "Picture" and import an image file on your PC to save as background.
  • Option 4: Check "Video" and load a video file on your computer to save as background.

In addition, you are also provided with the function to add Background Music to the background. Set music file Duration freely and loop playback music file in Loop Play.

c. Go to the "Button" panel, various Frame Styles and Icon Styles are available.

d. Go to the "Caption" panel, choose a target file on the preview area and then input the new caption, you can also adjust caption properties.

e. Go to the "Advanced" panel, choose file name displayed or not on menu, number of chapters on each submenu. Style of the focused menu item also allowed being set. Choose Frame or Mark and then select the corresponding color or shape. After setting, the set items will display the corresponding effect with your mouse clicked on.

Further settings of the output

Click on "Burn to DVD & Blu-ray" button and then it will turn to the panel in the following:

In "Burn to", choose to burn video to ISO File, DVD Folder or Blu-ray Folder.

In "Volume Label", type in a personalized label.

In "Save to", you can choose destination for output saving.

In "TV Standard", choose TV Standard according to your location. The chart will help you make a selection.

Start to burn to DVD & Blu-ray

Click on the "Burn Now" button in the previous step to start burning.
