Naomie Harris confirmed to star MS. Moneypenny – James Bond Girl in the 23rd James Bond 007 movie

Still remember the news that the beautiful lady Naomie Harris might star James Bond girl in the next James Bond 007 movie (the 23^rd James Bond 007)? Now, the news has been confirmed that she would star Ms. Moneypenny in the next James Bond 007 film. Plus Naomie Harris, there are three cast confirmed in this new James Bond 007 movie: Daniel Craig stars Agent 007 – James Bond and Judi Dench stars M.

Well, back to Naomie Harris’ role in 23^rd James Bond 007 as Ms. Moneypenny. The full name of Ms. Moneypenny is Jane Moneypenny, the secretary of M, James Bond’s superior. She has an ambiguous relationship with James Bond, but different from the sexual relation with Bond like other James Bond girls. Thus, she is usually not considered as “James Bond girl”.

There are totally five actresses once staring this role, respectively Lois Maxwell, Caroline Bliss, Barbara Bouchet, Pamela Salem and Samantha Bond. But since Daniel Craig started to star Agent 007, this role has been disappeared in the movie series.

The 23^rd 007 movie would start for filming this September and estimated to be in theater on December 9^th of 2012. The director is Sam Mendes, who also directed the American Beauty.

There is little information existing about this new 007 movie. The only leaked news shows that part of the story would happen in South Africa.
