Drop or Remain? Where will Nintendo’s Wii Price go in the future

Recently rumor has that Nintendo’s Wii is going to have a price drop in a month or sooner. The reason which has caused the rumors is that Nintendo’s Wii doesn’t fare a consistent better sales over Sony’s PS3 and Microsoft’s Xbox 360 in North American markets, where the two competitors have initiated a price drop as a market promotion in the coming holiday season. Although Nintendo president Satoru Iwata insisted “no price drop” some days earlier, the biggest factor that finally fixes the price is the market after all. The words said Wii’s price will drop from $250 to $200. At this level, it will be able to level off with $299 Xbox 360s and PS3s and catch more market share in the future.
